Well then that's a second close option to O'Donnell's.  Too bad the old timer on 528 passed... I miss his close bait shop.

its still open but something happened to Ron,i don't know if he had a stroke or what but he has a hard time remembering the prices for anything I would not expect him to be open much longer.i am surprised he still is.no vans no Jim on 528 WE WILL NOT HAVE ANY BAIT SHOPS SOON

We had 2 out of the 3 bait shops in Beaver Co. closed recently.   Im sure it's hard to make a buck.

Tackle shops near me are struggling too.  A few have closed.  One "doesn't carry maggots".  I checked another and it's under new ownership.  He left his maggots at room temp and lost 90% of his order.  After a while we caved and ordered bait online.  Sigh...

If youre in the Muddy Creek area, the beer distro in Forrestville on Rt. 8 sells spikes, waxies, crawlers, maybe other things as well.  They're open often.

You can buy bugs online... but I doubt you can buy affordable live minnows.

I would give that a try for minnows. I order a bag or two of spikes from ja da bait each winter. A bag of 1000 is $23.  Keeps in the fridge all winter.
