North Shore Ice

Anyone been on North Shore ice since the rain stopped on Sunday morning?  I had a good 4.5" on Saturday, but, have not had a chance to check and see what is left.

I was going to head out this afternoon to check a couple spots. Hoping to find something that will be good for Sunday morning.

Drove past Lake Cochichewick and there was one guy out on the southern part, not saying it was safe, didn’t stop to check ice. Checked out Pentucket. Edges are wet but once you are out I had 3-4 inches in all the holes I drilled. Not sure how much will change between now and Saturday or Sunday but I’ll be out.

My buddies went out Sunday am and had 3-5” on Chebacco in the cove left of the ramp... there should be some decent ice out there . I’m hoping for a few hours Sunday am

Found three inches of poor ice at Johnson’s this morning. We decided to continue heading north and fished NH. Be very careful out there guys.

On 5.5” of the good stuff northeast mass. It’s out there just gotta find it!

I’m on 3-4 inches of the good stuff northeastern ma. Now just need the bite to pick up!

Same. Two flags no fish

Found some ice.  The edges at my first spot were shot.  Got on some good ice with my daughter for about 3 hours Saturday afternoon with no flags.  I did manage to jig one small crappie.

Went back after dark to try and see if I could get on the night bite, but, no luck.  I'll have to invest some time in figuring them out.
