Is anyone using Arctic Warrior tip ups ? Could I use them for Perch and Crappie or should I try some other tip up / tip down brand ?

These are the rod holder style tip ups correct?    I do not own one but have freinds who use them sometimes. They are fun on a nice day but they don't function when the hole freezes up.

Yes , they are the rod holder style . I was worried about how they worked in real cold weather .

Use a thin diameter braided line. Seems to slip through skim ice pretty well, especially better than mono
The fishing is always great, the catching however, always isn't

A buddy had a couple that he tried here, he got tired of hole tending.

But....Come march as the temps warmed , he did very well with them.
