Hey does anyone know if the gates is open water from the boat dock out. I have a friend who is anxious to try his luck on the open water that is usually up there for eyes and big trout. Thought I would ask for him although I am still looking forward to some more weekends on the ice personally.

Still iced in,our temps have been low enough the ice is still stable,it may be quite some time before there is any open water there.He can put in below CF dam and troll down stream,it is open down to where the channel opens up before lakeside.
