No, we will not be this year. We couldn't find a date that would work for us in December. However, we do plan to have some early ice specials.

Yep, I'll be able to get out this year. It'll be a nice change fishing more daylight hours. Hopefully we'll make it down to blanchard this year too.

The ice can’t get here soon enough. Hope it’s a lot better year this year. I will be in for some gear I am sure as you can never have enough. Are you doing bulk bait this year?

Yep, we will be doing bulk baits. We have most everything available in bulk year round.
Can't wait for first ice! Hopefully soon!

Looking forward to seeing everyone! Yep, it's going to be a busy weekend, but we've been restocking most everything as fast as we can. Ice reports coming this afternoon!

Disappointed to see sub-par ice conditions. The lakes need a little time yet. At this time, I would not consider anything fishable and I do not see this improving much over the next few days.
It's never a bad time to stop in and stock up though. We're here 6AM-6PM all weekend.

Checked out your Twitter feed. Nice pics & vids of action in the area. Your neck of the woods is a jaunt from me, but if we get up that way some time I'll reach out for sure. Is there a counter part you are aware of in the Johnstown, Somerset, Altoona area that you're aware of? Asking for bait & conditions. I have two fairly reliable shops I can call but they're never out themselves. They tell me what other people say, and their employees rarely solicit info, only tell what's offered by customers. If you know of any place, would help a ton. Thanks!!

Sorry for the late reply. I've been out of town all week at a dealer show. I don't think I can help you though. I'm not real familiar with the shops in that area.

It's a snowy day here at Tackle Shack. We'll update later with totals, but 6-10 inches are expected throughout the day.
We just received shipments yesterday of some more ice combos, tip up lights, tip ups, and a few other odds and ends.
