I did purchase a Teardrop on closeout from the good people at FishUSA.  The reel has been fairly unreliable.  I will be contacting 13 Fishing at the end of the season to discuss replacement or refund.

Note that I did speak with 13 Fishing before purchasing the reel.  They were helpful and responsive.  I'm optimistic that they will make the situation right.  But, my experience with the reel has been frustrating.

ok, i read many other posts of the opposite here, recently

i don't think i would use one for free, they are not for me.
waiting on jig drops from a spool that has to roll with the line is too slow
they do feel solid tho, if you like that kind of reel

just trying to help this site and the ones that do like them. some said they will be buying more, so its for them mostly
