Used to do that in the tidewater coves of the Atlantic. Too fat to even try now. Just as well.

He is lucky not to take a swim . No thanks ha ha! I think it will be an early ice out this spring. Not been much catching big trout this season worth posting argh! 🥶

I miss seeing your browns, Wayne :P  Did your waters get stocked as usual this year?  I know a few in Region B that were pretty much omitted.

He is lucky not to take a swim . No thanks ha ha! I think it will be an early ice out this spring. Not been much catching big trout this season worth posting argh! 🥶

Hi Jim, The pond I have been fishing did get stocked in October. Not sure why it has been slow the 4 times I fished there.
There is lots of smelt so maybe the fish are not hungry the times I have been.
I will keep trying on the catching . Ha ha!
