If anyone fishes Collins today  reply with a report on the ice conditions. I know it'll be safe just wondering how sloppy it is.

went yesterday and it was real sloppy and that was before it rained hard

had about an 1/2 inch of water on it but worst part was the holes got really cloudy and nasty

couple bass couple pike....a perch and a few pickeral typical collins trip nothin big

We were there Saturday all afternoon...it froze over and the surface is glare ice.....bring your creepers.

We had about 5 flags.....one pickerel and a catfish / bullhead landed and a pike or two lost.

Careful if you head way left from the ball fields...my farthest out hole had about 6 inches of white ice and that was it....and the shoreline way beyond was open.

captain how did you end up doing today on collins?  We had 14 fish. 8 pike from 20 - 28, 4 pickeral from 19- 23 and to large mouth bass 16 and a 18 incher. the 18 was about 5 pounds maybe 4 1/2. real fat and beautiful fish today.

sounds like ya had a busy day i hear it was packed there today.my buddy rjhulbert was there.maybe u talked or saw him.after what i heard today ill never fish a weekend day.its bad enough during the week.im actually thinking of starting a new tradition here......ill drill my holes then 25 feet away ill drill more so everyone that decides to come out when they FINALLY wake up dont have that pesky job of drilling after a long nights sleep.since when anyone shows up they are right on top of me....it goes like this....FLAAAAAGGG oh wait is that ours?cant tell

! 19" Bass, A 24" Pike, a 16" Pike, A few Pickerel-one nice one... A few other small Pike. I stayed until 6:p.m.  Last flag was at 5:30   I met rjhulbert  and some other guys...forgot their names SORRY !!!  I had a blast !!!
