personal best for this ice season

 i caught my first brook trout ever threw the ice this year

I caught more fish this year than I ever have caught through the ice.

Got my PB Laker 26" (previously it was a 25" last year) ... so i beat it by 1" 

Caught my 1st Whitefish, never even seen one before.

Caught my 1st Smallie through the ice, good fighter.



Other than that i have been having a pretty slow season, lots of dink Perch.

i got my first brookie threw the ice ! caught a lot of gills and crappies and i think drank more coffee then ever before congrats to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive had a good season when Ive had time to go.  Havent been out in 2wks but got some time tues cant wait.

PB best 15" perch, having it mounted, and first tiger musky thru the ice.  Great year!  Hopefully the weather will hold for a couple more weekends.

Went out 12+ times. PB for me. Also my first trout while jigging through the ice. 14 1/4" brown trout....... Has been slow at times but at least my tackle gets organized each trip.................

No PBs for me either, I spent less time than usual fishing but it has been one of the best years we have had recently for the ice.

PB northern for me, 38" 13# beat me old best by a little over an inch. The old PB came open water but from the same lake. Conesus rocks!

My PB was a 41" Pike and a 38" in the same hour up at the Sac!!! ( No really it was the Sac) Both fat mommas

This winter was a personal best all in all for me...I had only ice fished 3 times before this year with my cousin (he owned the auger) so I bought my own Jan 1 weekend....... burned through my first set of chinese made blades, bought my first set of replacement sweedish blades....... went every weekend (usually alone)....not only did I pull my first winter fish up through a hole I drilled, so far I caught 56 keeper perch, 1 24" Northern, and 1 18" pickerel......My personal best ever winter, and not only am I hooked on ice fishing, next year I'll have my first shanty, and 3 more tip downs (made my first 2 this year...) thanks to the advise of this site, and my own intrigue to continue to fish on the coldest of days I have enough fish to fry up on Fridays on this season of Lent.......with hopefully another weekend or two left to go...

got my pb crappie this year on a pike minnow and tip-up it was 14" and got my first tiger muskie as well. pretty good year hopefully i can get a monster pike by time the season is over!!!
