Just wondering what you guys like to spoon with for crappies. I have been having good luck with Northland buckshot rattle spoon in 1/16 fire tiger tipped with maggots. What have you guys been using?

buckshots are great spoons. I dont fish crappie with a spoon very often, I usually opt for a jig or jiggin rap, but when using a spoon I lean towards CJ&S Slender spoon, they have great action and come in some great sizes for crappie

Northland Forage Minnow, 1/16oz. I've actually caught many species on it, but the crappies seem to really like it. I didn't know they made a buckshot that small. Might have to get some.

I've also done well with a Forage Minnow 1/16 oz. My favorite is the Glow Chub, to which I added a dropper chain.

Smallest to next size up Forage or Buckshot have always produced for me in various colors. Gonna have to see how the new Fry minnows work. A horizontal instead of a verticle presentation may or may not be better.

I like Swedish pimples and kastmasters

Bare bones, all metal are the following:
Daredevel - it just works.
Little Cleo - something different.
Syclops - somedays I like to change up.
Sometimes plain, sometimes tipped:
Forage Minnow
Doodle Bug
Always tipped:
Kastmasters
Buckshots
Demon
And a whole bunch of others that I just can't name them all right now.

Couldn't agree more on this one. I was out this morning and caught crappies, bluegills, perch and a largemouth bass on one of these. Last night was more crappies, gills and a pike.

Jigging demon spoon from custom jigs and spins is good.

I've been having great luck with the vingla spoon made by bay de noc, same company that makes the swedish pimple. Fishing them bare I've been outfishing my buddies almost 10 to 1 over teardrops and waxys.

Same here, perch pattern 1/16 Forage minnow w/ waxie or 2. Always have one tied on one rod . Usually start a fresh hole with it then switch to small jig n waxie to seal the deal if needed.
