Super lines, to leader or not to leader

I have been using a flouro leader on my power pro while jigging.  I am wondering if it really matters though.  What's every one else do?  Has anybody noticed a difference in catch rates with or without a leader?

I fish the same set up on one of my rods. Red Power Pro to a  swivel to a short 18-20'' leader of Floroclear leader (P-line). Works fine so far; most articles seem to recommend a leader to give you a little cushion, since the super line has very little stretch.

I always run a fluro leader (Vanish usually) off of a micro swivel when I'm running superlines on my set ups (I prefer Rapala Titanium Ice Braid). Having a barrel swivel on there helps to reduce line twist as a bonus.

I use the stren braid in Smoke color, 8lb test, 3lb diameter. Power pro now makes an ice line in white, which I have ordered from Cabelas. With and without a leader depending on my targeted species. Toothy critters= no leader, pannies and superclear water= flouro leader. When using a leader, these guys up there hit it dead on, use a swivel. Braid is very slow to twist, but with all the vertical jigging, it will twist and a twist in braid is no fun.

I have been using the super lines since they came out.  In my experience you only need these lines in deep water were the stretch of mono will not set the hook.  when using power pro I always use a short fluro leader with a swivel.
