If you do a search on here theres been a few other pike like that caught. I agree with pasquatch, just an individual. I'd like to catch a 20 pounder like that to mount :-)

do you remember much about the fish?? if so did if have 5,6 or 7 pore holes under its mouth near the lower jaw??

Here is a somewhat unique colored Northern as well. This one was 100% Northern Pike. The fish weighed 20 lbs even on my digital scale and was released. Its been posted here before but I figured this would be a good thread to repost it.

Being in the great outdoors is not a matter of life or death. Its far more important than that!
