Bocas Trip Walleyes
« on: Mar 03, 2021, 10:05 AM »
We spent 16 days in Bocas Del Toro Panama.
I went kayaking twice with my friend who lives there. We attempted to hand line but didn’t catch any fish. We spent more time snorkeling trying to catch lobsters.
The day we had planned for a boat ride to fish the rain came and the tides were high because of the full moon so we couldn’t go. That side of panama isn’t the best fishing. I heard the pacific side is the better side to fish so maybe another time.
Otherwise, it was an amazing place to visit. Friendly people, amazing views, lots of sun, beaches and bikini bottoms. Sorry fellas no creeper pics of the bikini bottoms.
If you’re looking for a getaway for yourself and family I would highly suggest visiting Bocas Isla Colon. Everyone we met was helpful and nice. Amazing boat tours and jungle tours. We saw sloths, monkeys, parrots and lots of other wildlife.

Here’s some pics.

Kinda far just to see "amazing wildlife."  Coulda done it right here in metro Denver...

Pro tip for handlining:

Better luck next time.

I wish I would have brought better tackle for handlining. I figured my friend had what we needed but that was not the case.
It’s all about perspectives Linh, if the wildlife and scenery is here is good for you that’s great.

Took the long rods out this evening and caught 9 eyes all dinks. Can’t complain for it being my first 2021 open water fishing in Colorado.
