whoops...I didn't want to open this can of worms again ("throw back those pike").  He can do whatever he wants with his *legal* fish.  Muskies are few and far between in my neck of the woods, the regs are crazy strict about keeping musky, and it is frowned upon here as they are extremely uncommon to find in all but a few spots.  Also, it takes years to grow one that big - but hey, if they're swimming healthy in your neck of the woods, that's different.

Probly shouldn't have brought that up I guess...but if you can't bust someone's b@11s on the 'net, where can you ;)

Regardless, a VERY, VERY nice catch!

What a beautiful fish. You'll be happy when you get that mount back and hang it on the wall. Your memories of the catch will flood back every time you look at it. Well done.

Nice fish,  definitley a catch of a lifetime thru the ice. I am 100% release with muskies, but if the fish was legally caught you have every right to keep it if you want it. Guys should realize that , as well as the fact the state of NJ does put alot of muskies in the lake every year. . Tight lines
