Which trebles do you use for replacements?

Tore up the rear treble hooks on three #3 Chubby's today at Healy. The #4 darter hooks held up alright, but the #3's are some fine wire stuff and didn't hold up well to hooking to deep or hanging in mouth cartilage. 

I'm wanting to upgrade to some good red trebles, what sizes and brands have worked well for you. I may just replace all the hooks on all the Chubby's.

Mustad Triple Grip.   I put em on all of my jigging raps one size bigger than factory and makes a big difference.

I always replace everything with the glow trebles from jb lures. I get them a scheels or online at www.jblures.com

I cant jistify those expensive hooks.  Using 2it on each spoon then loosing a couple a day gets expensive in a short amount of time.

If your bait just has one treble hook on it the size doesn`t matter too much. If it has two you have to be sure not to go too big or the two hooks can reach each other and hook together. I have had this problem on crank baits. I like triple grip, some times red works better than bronze, factory sharp is always good. Fishon
