Snowy Range Ice fishing

Friend of mine and I are heading up to go ice fishing tomorrow evening.  May be tough digging down to the ice as there is still about 4-5 ft snow on it.  Ice fishing the first day of summer!!  Oh yeah!!  Anyone is welcome to join us.  I think we will start with Mirror lake or Lake Marie.  Leave town around 4:30 pm.

Wow, I heard you guys still have alot of snow, but I didn't think any of the ice was still around.  If the ice is safe, I would consider making that trip next weekend.

A pilot's word has it that Louis, Christina and Shoshoni lakes in the WR mtns are still ice covered. Only if i had a 4-wheeler with tracks.... ::)

I bet they are!!  Glaciers won't be receeding much if any this year!!   :) 

Plans have changed.  I am heading out early in the am.  Starting with Mirror lake.
