I'll be there as long as the roads are open. I've never done the derby and only ice fished there twice, what's the usual winning caliber fish up there?

4 to 6 lbs i think hourlys are usually 2 to 4lbers maybe a little more. Good luck and i will be there too

Its by the marina up on the hill there is a shelter there.

Heading out Thursday to pre fish. Have no idea where I will go....ice conditions will determine locations. Will have white wheel house.... Plus The Bikini Ice Fishing Team

Going to bishup in a older white dodge ram with a Shadow cruiser box camper and maybe a blue honda. See it stop by Ill probably be in my blue Shappell Ice house 5000 mostly unless the door is open but state your present and we'll do some chatting

Even though I have only fished Bishops before I too am going to fish by the Dam/Marina so I don't have to drive forever in the event I catch something. I'll be driving a green 71 chevy pickup with a white topper. I'll probably use my homebuilt hut which is black with a dark brown tarp. Feel free to say hi if you see me. I won't be able to report here once I'm in Casper cause my dad doesn't have internet. Hopefully going to setup my hut Friday night even if it's dark when I get there. I'm getting excited, never done this derby before.

just pulled the camper out tonight over at bishops in a little cove, i hope its safe i will be driving a brown chevy with bessemer mountain outdoors and taxidermy sticker in the back window and have a blue and white older camper and red shack and the iceshanty flag will be flying high for all to see so come over and say hello

Ill be there too , never fished the derby but sounds lk a great time . Ive only fished Pathfinder once back in late October at the Dam end on marina side did pretty good w/Crawlers n korkeis ...but ice fishing is a hole other game ...I am a proficient ice angler w/ all the tools just never really went after trout through the ice also no 4wlr or snow machine soo Ill be pull her all by hand any info would be greatly appreciated .. been hearing alot about sweetwater n bishops ? a Lane

I had a good time at the derby, ended up catching 3 nice rainbows on Saturday but missed the payouts. Today I didn't catch anything. Ice was good and for my first time at that derby I'm happy. Fishlord, nice meeting you, hope you had a good time too, that's a sweet rig you've got.

327trout,it was nice meeting you too.I wanted to come over and BS withyu but we was busy saturday chasing flags and had other company come out.we was busy.we ended up with 11 bows saturday and 4 this morning.biggest was 3.8. weighed in 3 different fish but if you didnt have atleast 4 lb fish it wasnt worth taking up.all fish were released except 2. we got out of there around noon today.the wind had us beat and the fish just wasnt cooperating.all in all had a great time. didnt win anything but oh well maybe next year.

that's a lot of fish, my biggest was 3.66, also too small for the money. I left about the same time you did, you guys in Casper sure have some good fishing. That was only my 4th trip to Pathfinder and first time by the marina and I still caught fish so I can't complain.
