« on: Nov 28, 2009, 08:39 PM »
Just wondering if anybody has been up there in the last two weeks to check on the ice, I might go up tomorrow and check it out.

327 let me know what you find. I went by the other day and it was not good.
Take a kid fishing, they make great pack mules.
Put the big ones back for another day eat the small ones.

I just got back, the main cove by the parking lot on the south side had 6 inches of good ice, however the main lake channel appeared to only have about 1 inch of ice so it will be a while before we can fish deep water. I drilled about a dozen holes and only saw fish in two of them. I only saw about 5 on my camera and caught two of those, a grayling and a rainbow. Be careful up there if you go, but I wouldn't be in a hurry since I only caught 2 in 3 and a half hours. That lake always starts off slow and then gets really good later.
