Saw reports of 10" on Glimmerglass in 10' of water. Going there tomorrow to see for myself.

Thanks for info. Heading there tomorrow as well. I’d like to make it off 3mile to deep water but glimmerglass is a good back up. Got the laker itch but chasing perch will do if need be. I’ll post conditions as well

Fished off 3 mile point this AM. Went basically East to opposite shore off the point found good consistent 7”. Good steady action on lakers all morning was never on fire at any point

Saw a video uploaded 6 days ago where it shows a bit of ice on the shore and the entire lake open. Not sure if it was filmed the same day of course. I haven't been able to confirm in person. Really hope this cold snap locks her up and people can get out there safely 👍👍

Checked it out yesterday. Didnt look safe most of the lake not a soul until 3 mile. 7 shantys out not far from shore. Pulled in and talked to a group coming in who told me there was 2-3 inches of black ice. I didn't go out.

My nephew was at 3MP Sunday. 4 inches near shore, 2 inches a little way out. Only 3 turns with 8" hand auger. Not safe. Hopefully it did not get a lot of snow.

Glimmerglass and Springfield Landing both have at least 8 inches of ice. Snowmobiles and wheelers both on lake.

Satellite imagery from today looks like the lake has busted up and is pretty open. Pretty sure the season is over there.

Took a ride around the lake this morning. From what I observed there were guys on the ice in front of the marina in town. Then there were guys on the ice at 3 mile Point and I CLD see guys out on the ice at Glimmer glass. Be safe if you venture out there somewhere as it just froze last week.

Thanks for the update yote. Me and couple buddys ended up off 3 mile yesterday early afternoon to dark. Found 3”-5” good ice everywhere we went but like ya said you can tell she just froze and there are still some open spots around the lake. Very slow afternoon. Had some chasers no takers.
