Yup, tried em.  They work great for walleye too.  Try the new foam Ice fishing bobber also.  They don't freeze up and you can cut them to work with what you are using.

Wing-it bobbers work great on hard water. They are also good in open water.

hard h20 yea i use the larger version for walleye on softwater. when i saw it 2 weeks ago i loved it then just this week i said i had to get it, should work awsome for minnows, i would choose this one for a minnow because although it is very sensitive to the oteher bobbers i wouldnt wanna use a mini stealth for a minnow purposes i would think to many false trips so i baught this one.

Walleye4: i think i have the foam ice fishing one it measures approx. 3. it looks absolutely perfect.

the new foam slip bobbers are great because you can set them according to the size of the bait, the don't freeze up and they have just the right amount of sensitivity. i won't use any other bobber for ice fishing. they do come in two different sizes.

I just made some new bobbers out of some styro insulation, I'm not sure what they call it but I found some on a job site, it looks kinda like rope, but I cut it into different sizes for different size jigs, can't wait to try them, but they seem to work great in a bucket!
if your not walking on water, then you're not icefishing!
