confused

so I have been catching 8 inchers consistantly all morning or night in 10 fow then today mid day I moved all over and settled in 13 fow  first got broke off then caught 2,  14 ish bass probly the same one twice  then a 12 crappie could see more fish on bottom  by the time my jig got back they were gone then caught nothing but blugill  not a bad thing but my question is  dont fish of the same size hang together? and should i move out to that deeper water in the morning for the bigger ones?

Larger fish usually hang in the bottom of the school.

Sometimes the bigger crappies are the ones on top of the school...They have less to fear.

I generally get more big fish if I move around in an area.  The big ones are a lot more wary when you're pulling up other fish.

before you move to deeper water try a bigger jig...before we leave an area that slows down I go around to the productive holes with a inch and a half tube....always nail a handful of larger fish....
