Thanks for the fishing report ben-lucky.
Slow fishing seem to be the norm for the most part right now in SK. ::)

I though I would start the reports for this area.
What's  ice thickness and & fishing reports from Kipabiskau (Kip), Barrier, Marean, Greenwater or Round Lake. ???

Is there lots of snow on the lakes there, hard to get on?  :-\

Hello, I was out on Greenwater & Stiestol Lake last weekend. Stiestol had about 6" and Greenwater had anywhere from 12"-5" of ice. Not much for snow on the ice, maybe 4" with the odd snow drift.

The large snowfalls the area had fell on open water so minimal snow on the lakes but shore lines have allot, plenty to get your truck stuck. Until we get at least another good week of cold weather none of the lakes will be safe to drive on, depending on snow pack anywhere from 6-12”, be safe, check the ice.

Hey WW, was out on Kip Saturday. Most areas had 12" of ice, but one spot that had quite a bit of snow only had 7", be cautious. Fishing was very slow. Caught a couple small perch. Marking lots, but could not get them to bite!

Bump!
Curious to know what the access is like at Barrier Ford, Barrier Resort, Marean or Greenwater Lakes?
Can you get on the lakes with a 4 wheel drive or is now snow machine and walk on only? :-\

How was the bite where you were there?

Hi there ww I'm sorry I never got back to you my wife and I ended up not getting to greenwater as I got in a nasty snowmobile accident and scalped half of my head 18 stitches and 21 staples later and that was 2 weeks ago now I finally got the staples removed yesterday and the stitches to be removed on Friday. Its been one hell of a couple weeks.

Bump!
Just wondering what it's like getting around in the Greenwater, and, Barrier Lake areas now?
Can you still get on with a vehicle, or, is it snow machine, and walk on only now? ???
