We are all going to meet at River Styx. This way we can all introduce ourselves and meet one another. You can fish anywhere in the area on Lake Hopatcong as long as your back before 3:00pm with your entries ..... the derby ends at 3:00pm sharp.
I am working on a flagpole with the "Team IceShanty" flag as a marker for the "measuring station".

I know everyone is meeting at River Stix but if you wish to fish a different part of the lake, would you be able to drive to it by road or would you have to take a quad on the lake to it?

To keep everything on the up and up and fair you would have to either walk or use a quad/snowmobile. There have been other tourneys where people have driven away, fished another lake/pond and returned to enter their catch.

Doug, I have another question: Do members' children need to register to enter? I have three daughters from 7 to 11 years old and they may be with me along with my nephew (b-b-boy who I did register as a member). Should I create user ID's that may never be active members? I believe there were others that mentioned their kids as well, I'd hate to have a kid catch a winner only to be disqualified.

What time are we meeting & do we have to meet ? I would like to be makeing holes by 6:45 AM. Team Mercer will be fish by River Styx but I would like to be makeing your holes by 6:30 6:45 AM

Reb came up with a good idea. We are going to have a sign in sheet at the "measuring station". When you arrive stop by and sign in (screen name)

. I have the flagpole almost done and it will mark the station.
