 Here's a few my son & I got tonite! We just kept enough for one meal! Got the crappies after dark on the demon!  ;D  Nice way to start the new year!!!

It might just be the way that the pic came out?Maybe the fact I don't do alot of panfishing(not for lack of trying).I can't tell what the fish in the top right hand corner of the sink is.It looks shaped like a crappie and is barred different the any perch I ever caught???????????

It's a bluegill, lots of people in the midwest U.S target them. Good eating

 Well went back out today! Finally caught my first 10" Bluegill! And quite a few 9 inchers as well!

that's a terrific catch, by the way, what color demon are you using, also, teardrop style or spoon? what do you tip them with?
my local sportsman's just started stocking them so i'm gonna try and get some and i wanna know what works best.

 Panfisherman, I use the teardrop, with the orange top! Tipped with a waxie! Two pound test line! If your fishing at nite make sure you have a glo charger! After a few minutes recharge your lure! Believe me it makes a difference!

 Went out for a couple hours! Drill one hole and then it was non-stop! Some 9 1/2 & 10". I love it like that!

you need to get a lenz cover for the vex. they work great.

 Went out this afternoon and the crappies were hitting when I got there! Jig and a minnow! And they were hammering it! My friend also caught a 13" perch! Going to try it again tomorrow and see if I can get some more!

 Thanks Dave! I'm actually thinking about having one in May! I had one last fall and gave a talk on ice fishing! We had over 60 people come out for it! I breaded 350 filets! We ate almost all of them!
