-28C in northeast Alberta right now, going down to -36C.  We should be making good ice quickly, thick enough to drive a vehicle on.  ATVs & snowmobiles have been on the lakes for a while already.  Looking forward to a few days off to dig holes, having a few doubles and eating fish!!!! ;D

Looks like a road trip to Canada may be in order it is 42f at 9 am here in northwest Ohio.  Looks like ice could  be a long way off for us.

It's a stinkin' 52F here in Northeast PA.(what is this.....May?)  Supposed to drop below the freezing mark next week though.  Hopefully can get out on 12/26 and play with the new toys Santa brings.

Five degrees here in northern Montana. You guys don't have to go all the way to Canada. It does help if you live 40 miles from Saskatch though. It was 52 on Sat! Yikes! A couple more days of this and I will be ready.

some parts of southern ny are getting slapped pretty hard for the first real snow of the season... they gotta be getting close ot a foot by now or might be over that mark!

Steady at 20f so far today in Clifton Park.  Cold and clear, perfect for making ice.  Won't be long now...

It warmed back up into the low 40's here in the Colorado valleys. But the mountain lakes are cold and locked up in half a foot or more of ice. Already having great fishing for big rainbows, been twice this year and all but three rainbows I have caught (17 total in two trips) are between 2 and 4 pounds. It will get colder again soon and the lower elevation lakes will lock up.
