Cory here... I make it out on the ice roughly 30-40 days each winter. If it were up tp me, Id move to northern MN so I can sqeeze another few weeks out of each season, but the pther half ousts that idea every year.
Even though my name is South Dakota, I live 10 miles from the MN border and spread my time about half and half between the 2 states. The Panfishing here in NE SD is awesome, but I know you cant beat LOTW or ML eyes on the ice.

Even with the lack of winter last year, a person just has to find the good ice. There will be plenty of decent ice, a guy just has to find it and try new things.

Hi, I am new here. Born,raised and presently live in Roseau county. I fish Lake of the Woods mostly ( not as often as I would like ). Also fish Roseau river, Hayes lake & Lake Bronson.

My name is Neal, I'm from the Duluth area... I fish a lot at LOTW. I recently bought the pheasants forever edition ice castle... I can't wait for ice to put it to use. It great living up north when u can walk out our back door and do some fishing... Good luck and stay on top of the ice

I'm from Grand Rapids. Never did any serious ice fishing but that is all going to change. I am in the process of getting equipped for the upcoming hard water season. In the past my winters were about skiing, hockey and work. It's time to learn to ice fish. So this will be all new. I will be asking a lot of dumb questions

In real life they call me Peter. I like to fish for bluegills and crappies. Don't tell my boat, but I think I like ice fishing a little bit more than open water!

BTW, where does one get those team snotsicle (SP) graphics? I get quite a kick out of them!

Right click on it and select "copy image location" it will just feed out of someone elses photobucket acct.

Hey fellas,

Checking in. Its been over 15 years since I have been on the ice. So, this year is all going to be about re-educating myself. Ive picked up a few jigs, dug up some old gear, and hope to get on the ice as soon as its safe to!

Heading out to the Expo on Saturday and hopefully I can pick up a few pointers while there.
