My name is Mike and I am not from Mn but I am from Fargo. I do all of my fishing in the Detroit lakes and Ottertail area. ND might have looser regulations but I would rather fish in Minnesota. I have been fishing all my life, but I have been getting serious about it for the last 6 years of so.

I hope to see you on the hardwater or chilling at Zorbaz in DL.

Hi I'm Shane. I've lived and fished in MN my whole life. I've browsed around here before but finally signed up. Glad to be here and I hope to get some real useful info with this site. I mainly fish around the DL area as it's less than a hour from me but love to try new areas as well.

I'm Bob and I call Coon Rapids home. I have been visiting Iceshanty for a short time and I decided it time to say hey. I fish mostly the Alexandrea area lakes and lake of the woods. The prey of choice is the elusive walleye and crappie. Looking forward to shearing experiences and learning from everyone!

Hey there all you fisher people. I have a cabin on the Yellow River in Wis. and I fish Big and Little Yellow year around. I love to fish Mille Lacs as well with a good friend that has a cabin by St. Albans bay.

Looking forward to chatting about the sport can't get enough of. I am 57 and live in Lino Lakes.

Hi, I am lifelong hard water fisher and am trying my hand at pike spearing for the first time this year. I have 2 ½ inches on the lake that I fish up by the Hibbing area so I am totally stoked and ready to go as long as the cold weather holds up and gives me another two or so inches.

New member from the St. Cloud area. Been ice fishing last 5 years or so increasing from a once a year guy weekend trip where I borrowed gear to now owning a clam yukon, strikemaster and such. Usually fish within an hour or so of STC.

Hey boys, the names Jay. live and fish around the Zimmerman area, as well as the alexandria lakes area. Have been hooked since the ripe young age of six. Havent been out yet this year but definatly have the twitch in the arm, going to make a huge effort to get out this weekend. Keep the ice solid and your lines tight! see ya out there

Whaddup fellow MN ice addicts!?

I've been ice fishing about six years now, got a Fish Trap Yukon about three years ago, got a Showdown 5.6 last year, am totally addicted. I go with a group of buddies to Lake of the Woods on an annual trip and mainly like to fish the lakes around Faribault, MN. Can't wait until my 2 yr old is old enough to join me, he already figured out how to operate an ice reel combo, so I think we're doing pretty good.
