Post by: campfindit2 on Oct 23, 2011, 12:56 PM: 44 1/2" #16. Early spring she was spawned out. 17" girth. Had a circle hook with f carbon leader to swivel in the corner of her mouth. Lessen here for all retye main line is it's looking frayed. Somebody lost a fish of a lifetime through the ice.

He's still waiting to take a nice one through the ice. His largest to date on the ice was 12 pounds. The one above was just over 19 and 41 inches.

This here is the biggest at 47 3/4 inches 24 inch girth 28lbish area..

This here Pike I was just dumbfounded at its dimensions 43inches 24 inch girth no scale that day so unsure of weight.. But if i had to guess id say between 20-23lbs...

I have eaten a few it's good.
I use a razor blade to fillet around the bones. My family goes mad when I do poor mans lobster with them.
Boil bite size chunks in Sprite dip in melted butter yum.

45 inches and 23lbs is my biggest!!! caught all of these with in 3 weeks my biggest before was 37 and I have been fishing the same lake for 5 years now I wonder why all the big ones at once?

Uh, it is now.
Was quite pleasent when the video was shot at theend of March/early April. ;)

Currently -46C with the windchill and it's supposed to drop into the -50's later.
That-s -60's American in case yer wondering. :o

I think I was eleven or twelve there I'm 3o now. Lol. Keep lookin for a second addition to the wall though.

It was not by much, just a bit more in the girth area, but still here she, my NEW personal best pike. ;D

This here Pike I was just dumbfounded at its dimensions 43inches 24 inch girth no scale that day so unsure of weight.. But if i had to guess id say between 20-23lbs...
If my math is right, that fish is right around the 30lb mark. Very impressive, and I have a lot of faith in the lake I think it was caught from. It was tough open water fishing this year but I plan to spend a bit of time there this winter. Wouldn't mind meeting up and shooting the sH$t sometime either.

;) it was caught in the lake you think it was..I believe we have met coming on and off the lake a few times, msg me anytime man.. Ill be fishing a lot this winter, thats the plan anyway ;D

She went for a 4" Storm wildeye live perch swimbait. It's still in her mouth.
