I did a search on E Bay, and all they list are artificials.  Do you have a link?

TIA

Mousees are great bait. Problem? Skin is pretty tough so a sharp hook is premium. If it isn't, good chance you'll smash it trying to get it on a dull one.

I have yet to see a Mousie outperform a spike (or waxie).  Like they idea of that tail, but the results have never been there for me

x2. Last time I seen them for sale was bucks and bolts off 49 up by Oneida lake. I grabbed a pack for the hell of it they just don’t seem to stay on the hook or work as well as waxies for me anyway. That said I don’t really go out of my way to check bait shops for them anymore

I have used mousies several times over the past years and have seen no benefit. As mentioned already they tend to go to mush if your hook is not very sharp. Spikes are just a better choice ….

When they were readily available years ago I would get a container of  mousies ,spikes and wax worms ..never much luck with the mousies as compared to the spike/maggots and wax worms .. My actual favorite is color spikes/maggots/euro larva . Mousies have not been available for years nearby...but I dont miss them ...I can usually find white spikes/maggots locally and may purchase a container or two for the season . I buy multi/bulk containers of wax worms on line and divide them amongst my friends. I would also would love to buy bulk spikes on line ..but I really dont need 1000 spikes ...and kinda cost prohibitive . On another note I have not had much luck with meal worms either ..I am sure I am hooking them wrong ( any recommendations are welcome)  but know some folks who use them for perch with great success.

I agree with the others who haven't seen the benefit in using them. Had a couple friends tell me the tail drastically increases bites. Tried them a few times and didn't see the results. They weren't cheap either. I'm now a diehard butterworm fan. You can find them at Walmart. They're bright enough to attract fish in stained water and tough enough to catch multiple fish on one before you need to replace it.

I just got done calling Knutson's Baits, Wholesales Bait Co. and Ja Da Baits in Mich and Wi. my go to wholesale bait shops. They told me again this year that mousee grubs are out of season and any company that held any over from the warm season are far and few between, they just don't last.  So I ordered a 1000 white spikes from Knutson's baits for $14.99 plus shipping. Good luck to all.
