nice choice! I traded my 600 triple for a 500 fan cooled, didn't need the power or extra weight. Nice choice on the 300. They move pretty quick here in manitoba.

I traded in my 2005 GTX 600 and got this. I really wanted the Tundra Lt 550 but there were none in stock and more money. The 300 is really under powered for me but it is really light at 350 lbs. I'll sacriface the speed for the weight savings.

That's a slick set up with the auger RR, I'm going to have to steal the idea for my Tundra. Nice whitefish by the way!

Took mine out for it's shakedown run on Sunday, just need to find time to install the carbides and studs and she's good to go.

And in action last winter:

It's not hard to make and makes life simpler. I find with it behind the snowmoblie it doesn't collect a lot of snow on the power head.

I'm going to be building a plywood cargo box for the back of mine, tall enough that it doubles as a bit of a back rest, and build a mount like yours to bolt on top. The one change I'll make is probably just stop the auger bit support at half way down the flighting. If i get the numbers right, I should be able to open the lid of the box, without removing the auger or mount. Once I get something put together I'll put up some pictures.

Looking good RR. CMMahy's sled look familiar also (Dootalk).  Ice here is thick enough in spots but thin in others. Might have to wait a bit more.

I recognized it from the Doo site. I have been trying to find the picture with my Gps mounted on the tundra but can't find it.

Already lost a snowmobiler through the ice near Wawa. I'll be checking spots Tues. Walking only of course.

Not quite set up for ice fishing yet, but that's why I got it.
Tested it out last weekend in 1-2 feet of fresh power.
Compared to my 02 Polaris Trail/Tourings..........Amazing!!!

Those are great looking machines guys! I really like the custom graphics on the Freestyle, gives it a nice, unique look. Now that Santa brought me a good saw, I'm going to get started on my Cargo box, I've already got it drawn up.

Thanks.....I think the graphics turned out very good.

how much do those ski doo's weigh?
No idea but they are Skidoo Pilot 6.9 Mountain ski's.  Slightly heavier than the junk stock ski's.

If I was closer it would be a deal  as I have no desire to do 125 mph  as it was reported to do  30 is good for me!   but when going thru a slush pit  it was nice to have the extra bit on the handle bar  lol

My Tundra only weighs 340 lbs dry. If I get stuck I can put it on my back and snowshoe out..........lol.  it is a light sled I can move around myself. Fun but not much power. Top speed by my Gps was 69 km/hr on a rail trail. Keeps me out of trouble.
