I think we still have a chance for fishable ice. I'm seeing some lows in the teens in the next week, as long as we don't get a big snow event to insulate it, that should tighten stuff up. Especially if any ice held over from the last freeze! I'm not giving up quite yet, but each to his own I guess. Later Hex

I think people just have more free time in the winter. I'm too busy when it's nice out to be posting on fishing sites.

It's been pretty calm over there.  I posted a request for information about fishing in
Missouri on January 2 and it stayed at the top of the national feed for over
3 weeks. Ironically, i have done more open water fishing this winter than I did last
summer...

like a couple of others have mentioned I check out IS all year long. Now one thing I have noticed on MF site is that of all the states on it Indiana is by far on of the most active! And yes it definitely is a lot more dead than other sites!

That's because Indiana ice sucks anymore and we spend more time on this site then on the ice
