  I got an old sniffer, a Clearwater Classic that worked great but now one of the buttons is broke. Would you

   A) try to send it in to be fixed even though it is probably not worth the $100 or so they will charge to fix it.

   B) throw it out?

   C) take it apart myself and then throw it out.

I guess it depends on what is really wrong.  Is the button damaged mechanically (a contact has been broke or it's not activating a switch), or do you think something electrical burnt out?

Carp old sniffers are like women with alot of makeup on. After awhile you can't really tell what yer looking at. 

The button feels like it just came loose from whatever it does, but if I crack the chest on this thing will I be damaging it more than if I sent it in?
