The wind finally subsided here.  Hard to believe the daytime temp ready 47* for a day in January
When there is ice on the lakes, I never make employee of the month!

Tomorrow's forecast here is for 3 to 6 mph but it's a little difficult to believe when it's blowing 30 with 45 mph gusts for the sixth day in a row.
YOU are the only one who can decide if the ice is safe enough for you.

Yeah, go figure. Suppose to be calm here today, but it's been blowing 10 - 20 mph for the past four hours. Check out the G'Town cam & you can see where the wind is blowing the snow across the highway. I don't know how this could be, isn't the weather man always right?...............not - LOL

Does anyone know what the west shore of Francis is looking like?  Hoping to get out on some ice Saturday.

Did someone appease the wind gods with an offering?  FINALLY...the current conditions read "Calm."

adam_mcd.  Who got sacrificed? :) Was it the big Guy? Sorry KnR!  Today was the 1st nice day in BT with no wind  for several weeks. The w here has been bad to say the least, not sure of a safe place around here to go and fish? Did go to the trr last week, while the w was howling here, we enjoyed 3 days of no wind. A great trip! Even caught a few fish, bonus!
