Yamaha 95 moto 4 350
« on: Jan 13, 2014, 08:21 PM »
Hey all, i have a friend that is offering to sell me a 95 moto 4 350 for $500.  Does anyone have info on these wheelers?  My biggest question is about the lack of pull start on it.  Are they pretty reliable?  Pretty much just going to use it for ice fishing and dinking around in the mountains (nothing extreme).

I have a 99 big bear and the moto 4 was a pre-big bear. I'm a big yamaha fan myself they have never let me down. I wouldn't be to worried about the lack of a pull start as long as you keep a good battery in it. On my big bear and grizzly I've never had to use the pull starts that I can remember. Hope this helps

If I\'m not fishing, I\'m probably thinking about fishing...And if I\'m thinking about fishing, I\'m probably not getting much else done so, I might as well go fishing...Yeah, I just said that!

We got a Yamaha big bear, older mid Nineties with no pull start.  It is really cold blooded I carry starting fluid just in case.  Now I keep a new battery in it every year.  But it is just the back up bike anyhow.  On the bright side it spent the night on the bottom of fort peck and still runs fine.
