Stopped by cottonwood today. Lake is just about iced over! I fished in the marina on a solid 3.5” iced lots of trout and perch. Ice on lake still doesn’t look quit ready yet.

Was out scouting geese and drove by. There are patches of open water on the bruneau arm, but it is still mostly iced over. We need some nights in the teens and highs in the low 30s or less to firm things up...
