Today I placed an order for the "Ice Helix 7 Chirp GPS Gen4 All Season" unit that comes with the ice shuttle as well as ram mounts for using on a vessel in the summer. Being that I've never owned any sort of fishing electronics, I was watching some videos on how to set it up and use is. One review I was watching the guy in the video stated that the power harness had the plugs to add a mega live. Does that mean this model is mega compatible? Or is it just the same harness used in the 9" megalive bundles but not actually useful to me. I can't find anything on Humminbirds site about whether its compatible or what additional items I would have to purchase to make it a megalive unit.
