Chain-O-Lakes
« on: Dec 10, 2005, 02:48 PM »
Park is still fishing good...Went to River Lake (The Narrows) again and walked off the ice with 23 nice fish, Put about 10 back that would have kept, figured they could use another year on them...Fish still schooled up and very catchable...Ice is still 3-4 inches and as before conditions are sloppy from weight of the snow on ice pack...Will be out there tomorrow putting it to them...

Fished River Lake for the 3rd day in a row...Walked off the ice with a mixed bag of gills and redears...23 keepers again...That makes 76 keepers in 3 days and total catch of 100...Not bad for a long weekend...Gonna try Blue Lake on Tuesday, will report my findings...

Greg2ha,

No...I was told Sand is still very open as well as some of the others...I have not looked at any of the other lakes myself, but got the report from a friend...River Lake is fishing good, but the fish are deep (as always)...Fish are suspended from about 30ish to the bottom which was about 40 feet.  Hope some of this info helps.
