SnoBear thru the ice

Seen on the news last night a guy had his SnoBear fall in. He and his daughter made it out ok but he didn't have insurance on it. Ooops!

I know they were pushing on there ads that it floated
I wonder how deep its in right there maybe it is floating

It wasnt mine!! ;)   They do float in deep water... like a space capsule with the back end bobbing up...haha.. but will still be wreaked if go thru.....water doesnt do well with engines...

Shouldn't be an issue as long as it didn't flood the engine while it was running.
Sunken snowmobiles fare ok if you get them shut off before they sink.

They are supposed to do that.... as in everyone is OK and the machine was recoverable.

If I had a SnoBear I'm not sure I would be walking much other than to my SnoBear.  ;D From the sounds of it he knew he was going too far but for whatever reason he didn't turn around and if he would've avoid the island he would've probably been fine. I wonder how close the tow truck got to him?
