cheyboygan area ice

heading to the cabin this weekend and wondering if anyone can tell me if there is any ice left and do you feel there will be this weekend.looking at mullet,burt or any lake near by.dont really care what we catch just want one last ice trip.

WE STILL HAVE ABOUT TWO FOOT OF ICE IN ALPENA. THERE'LL PROBABLY BE COUPLE INCHES OF WATER ON TOP FROM THE SNOW MELTING BUT THERE SHOULD BE LOTS OF ICE. CHEYBOYGAN IS JUST NORTH OF US AND SHOULD HAVE ABOUT THE SAME ICE CONDITIONS..
