  That sure is an awsome fish, Red!
  I have been searching for a 50+lb carp, and know that they exist in a few NY waters (I'm from MA), so will obviously spend a lot of time in your fine state.
  Can you share some light on waters with the best chance of huge carp in NY (PM would be fine too)? I am a C&R carper, so no worries there.

50+ huh? What if I told you that there is a lake in southern MI that could give you that opportunity? Small body of water less than a mile square, minimal fishing pressure, and big carp. From my dock I've seen schools of better than 100 fish crusing the break and I can tell you for sure that in that school I've seen fish the better part of 5' long. No joke. I'd kinda like to see what a true carp fisherman could pull out of that lake.

  If so, I'd pay to get into those fish! Ya gotta chum and guaruntee fish though..LOL

nah, it'd be my home lake in Hillsdale Co. I'll be going back at least a few weekend this spring to bass fish and I'm sure I'll swing that way during the summer a time or two to gill fish.
