Hey guys came up yesterday to check the area out and ended up at Madison chain, any information on where to go what are productive areas, etc . I'd dont get much ice back home so I'd be content with a mess of bluegill or crappie. Kind of fishing blind here guys so any advice is greatly appreciated

Good to hear the Old Goat is still kickin! I have been fishing Marshall park, easy walk for this old timer. Got 5 9" gills before new years, been back there for the past 2 days, nothing! Lots of fish on camera, very finecky and will not bite. All lookers, no takers. Lots of small northerns in there. Time to move on to greener pastures!

Anyone go out today? I’m thinking about going out tomorrow (Wednesday) because I have the day off.

With a few cold days in a row, things will start to get busy on the ice. I might be able to get out during last half of the week, if anyone is looking for a tag along.
