time for a new shelter
« on: Oct 01, 2012, 05:38 PM »
its time for me to buy some sort of shelter. sick as it sounds i've always liked to sit by myself out in the wind and cold. but now that my son is old enough to spend time on the ice with me, my wife says i need to shelter him! haha. i have been doing some research but they all sound like they are the best things ever made when the mfg. gives you the info about it.im not leaning towards one certain brand, but i kinda like the eskimo fatfish 949i. does anyone have any input on these? or try and push me in the right direction to look. it has to be able to hold 3-4 people. thank you in advance!!

My 2.5 year old son was the major reason I am building my 8X12 permy, but that being said I am up in SK and we can have 48" ice at times and usually 12+ by mid December. I would say post up in the General section you will get more responces there, just ask what people are using and what they like the best about them. Good luck.

I have an Eskimo 949i and love it. It is very roomy and the insulated fabric is awesome. No more frosting on the inside when running a heater.
