The Walleyebago, My new shack(need ideas)!!
« on: Feb 07, 2011, 01:15 PM »
Picked this beauty up this summer and completely gutted it and put a new floor and walls, and roof, and some new insulation, but I could use some Help putting the finishing touches on it...

I try to do everything as thrifty as possible.

my hole tubes were free, just put wax on the bottom so they don't soak in the water.

My shack auger, 5 bucks at yard sale, welded up the drill attachment myself.

12volt fan out of a broken PC, Heater was in the camper when i bought it.

I have a total of 8 holes, two in each corner.

My radio and dvd player, both run off of 12volt, both were kind of broken, but still shack worthy.

Gas light came with camper, windows all blackout for sight fishing.

In the process of decorating. spent money on the ceiling insulation.

the box behind the chair I built with scrap works as storage, and can be moved, not sure if i like them yet.
the rattel real is an old nut can with a bell in it.

Need help with some sleeping ideas, seating, card table, Or any other tips you have....

Thanks

For sleeping quarters I would put a big enough piece of 3/4 to 1'' plywood that you would sleep on the wall with the toolbox.Get a few heavy duty hinges and bolt it in,you can either use guy wires to support it form the ceiling or throw a couple of 4x4s under to support the bed. That way you can fold it out when needed and it doesn't take up too much space.Same thing for the card table.Maybe on the back side of the door?Don't forget the big screen tv,microwave,etc...Good Luck
Any day I get to play with my auger is a good day!

Looks nice. If you can, let me know how those cardboard tubes work out for the fishing holes.
