I use these:

I have a set on an Eskimo Evo1IT and have purchased 4 for my new Clam Nanook Thermal and have skis for all. One thing I noticed with my EVO is that in the up position they aren't as stable, but I don't have a good backer metal plate on the inside.
I've been trying to get some guys to reply on YouTube about how they've done theirs, but no replies.
On my Nanook, I'm planning on at least a 2 inch aluminum plate on inside that may go 2 feet to each lift for dinner strength. Again, I'd love to hear how others have strengthened these lift braces.
On my Evo last winter when coffee table brackets are in up position, the whole ski can bend and really flex the plastic sled. I'm not fond of that.... When skis are down, all is well in the world

Papa, I can send pics of my Evo, but won't start the Nanook xl thermal till after this year...I'm not giving up on the idea as it's fabulous and will probably always incorporate something similar as the skis mimic the Smitty sled...
