Had a pair a couple yrs ago and were very warm, especially for the price. Only complaint was I kneel down a lot when fishing and after a couple yrs they crack on the inside by your big toe, causing a leak.

Just got a pair of patriot 3 this year have not had ice so can't tell you much. Except that they seem very well built and comfortable. Couldn't not try them for $59.99. Think they will be great. Also Kamiks customer service was great with me when i was e-mailing them prior to buying. Not to mention I noticed a little very little imperfection in the removable eva foot pads and they sent me replacements no questions asked....
