USDA just updated the maps last month, the IL changes are pretty stark.

Okay been a heck of an ice season guess I’ll put my gear away! God I love il, 😂🤣 fishing soft water Friday mid 50s and rain next 5 days mid 50s X-mas day with lots a rain! Splurged on some new gear can’t even try it, had to travel all last season was hopeful this season would be better, but it’s rather bleak so far🤞🏻January & February hopefully! It would be nice to fish local! EL NINO.

Yeah, last season was lousy, and this one sure isn't looking good at this point.

I got out locally last year, but only a handful of days.
