I don't think it's gonna get down this far Drifter. We got highs in the 30s forecast for the next 10 days. 

I'm with Old Goat, send the hovercraft. I'll even take it back up to Beaver Dam and run it...

I've been watchin' yer weather Drifter. That is INSANE! Is that normal to have highs for 10 - 14 days running in the -20F range?

Looks like some of that is finally slippin' down this way over the weekend. We'll have highs in the single digits (F) in the north. Should make most lakes safe for truck travel up there and get us to a "whopping" 8 inches or better in the south part of the state.

Yep, it's normal.
Winters have been warmer than usual for the last several years.
Before the warm up it was normal to have a week or more of -30 to -40 at a stretch.
I remember Christmas about 5 years ago my whole 12 days off were in the -40's.
Half way through I tried to go out and have some fun on the sled but only made it a mile or so before turning around.
The hand warmers took too long to warm up and I couldn't feel my fingers.

Our cold package is scheduled to arrive this weekend.  Sat nite -6 and Sun nite -4.  We got an early delivery the last 5 days in the teens and single digits at nite.   Thanks for the shipment.

You can keep it. Weve been pounding perch -n 40-60F weather since Dec. 31st. I want it to stay that way!
