i found anywhere from 2in to 6in of hard ice. The top was cakey but generally hard ice. I did alot of spudding to get to where i was. The edges in alot of spots was very iffy. I had 2 shortys in 15 mins. Then BOOM, 3 keepers. Musta been a pod crusing. I was about to leave and bam, 2 more. I stayed another 2hrs without a mark. Flat line... It isnt very often I beat up on Max, that lake will make you tuck tail and sulk.

Nice catch of cookie cutter walters right there. The lakes might survive the weekend if we don't get water on top.

What do you think the ice conditions will be like tomorrow? You guys got 40 degrees coming today with sun. Heard wind is going to be brutal there tomorrow so the ice report may be a mute point.

Now I get it... the thread awhile back titled "good ole blue". I thought the guy was talking about his hunting dog catching gills and crappie. Do you have red trebles , bronze, or gold mounted on them undies? On second thought, what lb test am I going to need with those things??

I did the same exact thing in that spot a few days ago, just happened to have the same presentation on the rods, so I dropped down the same rods. Skunked the time before...bring yer blue skivvys Brad!

LOLOL, when the bite gets tough do you change your underwear or lure color first? Curious to see if I've been doing it wrong all these years.
