Sorry but I was there today or I would consider it. Son and I caught at least a dozen panfish on the lower lake in 13 feet of water. Trout were hard to come by. Somene said they have not been stocking as many trout as they used to.
Did not see many fish caught. some guys were out but not as many as expected. Lake looks a little scary but there is still 7 inches of clear ice beneath the surface. After tomorrow conditions will deteriate more rapidly with temps above freezing and hitting 62 on Monday. The ice is slippery in the morning so ice spikes would help. Be safe and good fishing!
