Just wondering what everyone's favorite jig to use for pan fish was. I finally was able to start catching on silver spoon with a red stripe. Tried multiple lindy bugs and several different color jig heads, papal swimming fish and many others. Thanks in adavance

My favorite is Punisher float-n-fly in crawfish color. The look like baby bluegills and stay perfectly horizontal in the water.

was gill getters in the natural color no sparkle, but lately the vmc ice flies have been doing well.

Like Spider, mine changes often as I usually have 7 different jigs or spoons rigged on my sled. Right now I'm getting good mileage out of a Rattling Flyer with a dropper chain and single hook.

GOT AN E-MAIL FROM A FELLOW ICE NUT HE BOUGHT SOME 1/10 SWEDISH PIMPLE ICE CHANGED THE HOOKS TO SINGLES AND IS DOING VERY WELL WITH THEM AT PYME. GOING TO TRY THEM LOCAL AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS.MAYBE SOMETHING NEW MIGHT HELP ?.

BEEN MY BEST PRODUCER THIS YEAR, I PUT A THIN PLASTIC WEDGE RIGGED SO THE DEMON IS VERTICAL AND THE TAIL IS HORIZONTAL.

I mainly use 4mm or 3mm tungsten jigs. One local lake I really like the Hexifly.

I'm a big fan of CJ and spins products. Gill pills,diamond jigs,Chekai,and the new Glazba with the little crystal in the nose. Ratso's have been my favorite for years,instead I've been adding the plastic to all of the above mentioned jigs. Lindy's Toad and Bug have there days also. I seem to use a lot more tungsten and I really don't know why because I fish shallow most of the time.

I use any of the CJ&S jigs or Clam dingle drops. All have produced much better than any of the other brands I've tried this season. I do hate the clam paint though you have to clean every eye and it chips up quick, and no I dont use hemostats. (Cold snap toothpick)

I personally have had luck with the classic tungsten teardrop jig w/ a waxworm or two. Yellow, pink, and glow white have done the best for me

I’ve only had 1 good day with the glazba in an electric perch color. I use a lot of plastics along with tubbies, spoons, rapalas, and the single drops.

Demon jigs....glow with red stripe..(caught walleye on it too)...the clam epoxy drop green bug with red jewel has been good as well.

In previous years its been the tungsten but this year it is the nickel swedish size 2. Been catching a pile of everything on them.

I don't know what it is this year but they been killing it. I bought nickel and the red crushed ice pimples and been in business. usually don't use them but something this year has them pulling in a lot of variety.

Fiskas tungsten in sizes 2.5mm-5mm tipped with 1-3 natural or red spikes. Sometimes both.
